Profeti della Quinta, Winners of the York Early Music International Young Artists Competition 2011

NCEM Ambassador - Catherine Bott
Leaving a legacy to the National Centre for Early Music is one of the most powerful and effective ways of ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy early music.

We can accept bequests in support of any aspect of the charity's activities and your legacy can help sustain that which you most enjoy about  our work.  For example, you could support:

The festival programme
Young emerging talent
Our creative learning programme
The maintenance of this historic church

Your support can really make a difference. Violinist and Festival Director Trevor Woolston and his wife Emma were well known for their interest in the work of the National Centre for Early Music and were particularly supportive of the aspirations of the many young musicians who perform in the annual summer Festival. Their legacy has helped the NCEM support musicians from across Europe and we are immensely grateful to them - and all others - who offer such practical help in these complicated financial times.

There are many ways in which you could give us your support, whether as a residual or pecuniary legacy, but please do consult a solicitor before making a decision - and remember that as a registered charity, your gift will be free of inheritance tax! For more information or a confidential discussion, please ring Mrs Cherry Fricker on 01904 632220 or email support@ncem.co.uk
